Mercure Severinshof City

Very good standards for a chain hotel. Rooms spotless and don’t seem dated. Location central but quite. and close to transport. Staff were very welcoming . Only criticism is lifts to rooms don’t require key card to access allowing anyone to access room corridors without even passing reception. They also cancelled the room card early despite paying for late checkout but overall is great value for a chain hotel.

I was here from 2 to 5 July 2026 for the CSD in this city. Friendly staff, nice and clean rooms. Especially the staff of the bar "Relax" I want to compliment. they are a very nice couple, and they have a huge sense of humor. This is the second year in a row that I was here with my boyfriend, and they recognized on immediately. This adds enormously to the feeling of being welcome!

I had a very pleasant stay at the Mercure Hotel Severinshof Köln City. The hotel's convenient location is particularly noteworthy. Directly in front of the hotel, there are S-Bahn and bus stops, making all important points in Cologne quickly and easily accessible. The staff was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accommodating throughout my entire stay. I received a large room with a balcony, which made the stay even more pleasant. The carpets in the room created a cozy atmosphere and were very comfortable. Additionally, fresh water was provided daily. Despite the good transport connections, the room was pleasantly quiet, allowing me to sleep very well. Overall, it was a thoroughly successful stay – I would gladly return and can wholeheartedly recommend the hotel.
