Stay away!!!My family stayed for 2 nights in this hotel during Christmas and we had bed bug issues. The hotel manager mentioned he will refund our entire bill because of this issue, and asked us to not spreading this info to the social media. It sound like this was not the first time. However, he did not keep his promise. He stopped responding emails after told us he would send the refund on 12/26, and also stopped picking up the phone. I am not sure if a hotel like this will qualify to stay in the hospitality market. I would suggest all the future guests to be aware of the condition of this hotel and the staff! The hotel room was very small and outdated, the value was not good even without the bed bug issue. Watch out!!

Hotel has a good location, 5-7 minutes walk to Dom Cathedral and Cologne Hauptbahnhof. Same distance to shopping street. Room and bath are small. Bed is ok, linens are old, but clean. Walls are thin, noises from other rooms are heard . Breakfast is fine. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Price & value are acceptable. I recommend this hotel for short stays.

The most horrible experince ever. Health and safety means nothing to this hotel’s management(if there is any management). We got stuck in the lift for one hour with no fan. There was only one very rude girl running the entire place shouting at us while we were stuck in the lift that why 3 of us got in the lift in at the same time. After we finally got freed she started arguing with us that why we used the lift three of us! I called the police and long story short she asked us to leave our room and never refunded us in cold snowy weather. My mum had panic attacked as a result of the being stuck in the lift sith no fan and we had to call the amboulance treat her. This was a seriously bad experince. Stay away from this place if your health and safety is important to you. On top of all these (of course with less importance) I have to mention that the rooms also are not what you see in the photos. The given room to us (before we had been asked to empty the room) was old, crappy and smelly. I am sure anywhere could be better and SAFER than this place.
