This is a fairly basic, budget hotel.The room was fairly clean and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a little smelly. The breakfast was ok but I recommend getting there early for the best choice. Staff were friendly. The location is good - it is in a lively area with plenty of cafes/bars and about a mile walk to the cathedral/train station. BUT we were there on a Friday and Saturday night and there was loud music from a nearby bar until approximately 3.00am which made sleeping difficult.

Reviews about noise and lack of isolation are totally true . Our room did not look at the street but at the yard, nevertheless music and sounds from nearby bar/club were perfectly heard in the room. On Friday night they stopped at around 3am. Hotel interior does not match with 4 stars level . The hotel is close to the center and shopping streets though, this is an advantage.

We booked a night at this place due to its proximity to both the city center and the Mediapark, where we planned to visit a photography exhibition. Easy to find with a very convenient and cheap sheltered parking around the corner (24€ for 2 days), the hotel was surprisingly quiet for its location with kebab outlets, noisy bars and discos surrounding it. The reception process was quick and efficient, the room was on the small side but enough for us, very clean, as was the bathroom. It was extremely warm considering the heater was turned off and outside temperatures were sub-zero. Mini bar and safe available in the room. Nothing negative to mention, a very pleasant stay as far as we are concerned.
