Best location and price for a short trip - close to the Hauptbahnhoff and to the Altstadt. Very friendly hostess Maria, We have stayed in this place 3 times already. Schumacher Beer Bar across the street.

My 15 year old son and I spent 3 nights at this Gaestehaus recently. When we arrived the owner gave us a very comprehensive amount of information about where to go, where to shop and visit etc. As others have said, it is very close to the train station and within walking distance of the Altstadt (a must see) The room was spacious and comfortable which also had a small bathroom and shower The only drawback is the breakfast, or lack of it, we were only offered tea or coffee. That said, it did not spoil our trip and I would recommend anyone visiting Düsseldorf to stay here

Germany’s accommodations, Düsseldorf included is expensive and we were happy to find this guesthouse at that very fair price, very well located. We could walk to the Altstadt and were really close to the main train station. The U-bahn/subway is just around the corner, we could go everywhere in no time! No car passes on the street so it is always calm and around you have all commodities: u-bahn, train station, bakeries, restaurants, bars and shops. The guesthouse is simple but very clean and it is a pleasure to meet the owners, they are so nice and helpful! We had internet, TV, sink and shower in our room. We shared the wc with only 3 other rooms (if fully booked), and it was very clean. We got tea and coffee one afternoon in our room, offered by the owner, it was very nice. We enjoyed our stay at the guesthouse ! And we recommend it! :)
