Home Hotel Haan Nichtraucher Hotel

Positive Check-in worked well, the email with the code arrived on time, and the code also worked. The breakfast was nothing special but sufficient for the price. Negative Breakfast on the weekend at 8:00 AM is quite late if you have plans. If you arrive right at the start of breakfast time, the breakfast is good; however, if you come 2 hours later, right in the middle of breakfast time, the scrambled eggs are already cold and stale. The overall condition of the hotel has a lot of room for improvement. In our room, one of the nightstands was broken; a leg was already lying next to it, and the nightstand wanted to tip over upon touch. The shower doors could not be closed properly; they were incorrectly installed and had a 10 cm gap between them when closed. The biggest blunder happened on Sunday. We returned to the hotel in the evening and found our door wide open, allowing anyone to enter the room and take our belongings. We thought about a burglary and wanted to call the police, but fortunately, nothing was missing. After multiple inquiries at the hotel hotline, we were only informed that there was a user error by the staff with some app, meaning someone was opening the doors remotely, and no one had control over it. This is not what hotel security looks like.

Checked in with code, at least that worked. Room clean but..... Emergency exit door (was our patio door) only went with gross force to open, which in case of emergency must NOT BE AT ALL!!! Breakfast could be ordered at reception: no one to reach, breakfast room empty (zero breakfast preparation). Overall, it can hardly be more anonymous:(

It was a gentle stay with a delicious breakfast, very clean rooms and friendly personaö. You can also relax in the lounge The sauna was nice and hot. All around successful stay. We would love to come back
