Hotel Am Volksgarten

Very cozy small family business.. absolutely great breakfast for this category.. for a concert visit nearby Well located. The house is located in a quiet side street.. P.s. The beds were Heavenly

Unprepossessing hotel staffed only until 14h. In the EZ (originally for 104€) you could once turn around yourself. No mini-bar, bad internet. However, the host is the reason why I bother to write a review. He is transgressive, presumptuous and outrageous in his choice of words. Check out time is at 11h. At 11.06am he called u anticipated that he would probably have to extend the reservation of the room. He is already waiting with anticipation at the reception. There, one was taught in a cheeky tone how often he clashed with his guests about it and imposed his frustrated basic attitude. Conclusion: Overpriced hotel to stay away from if you want a pleasant and comfortable stay!

What an awful place. I stayed for three days and the internet never worked during my stay. I asked the receptionist about it and he told me he was aware that it wasn't working but that there was nothing he could do about it and moreover it wasn't his responsibility. So I asked him about checking out early in that case, since the website advertises internet, and he refused. Then when I was checking out the receptionist insisted I pay despite the fact that the booking was booked and paid by a third party. I had to insist that he call the third party, meanwhile he apparently got bored and got up to make himself a coffee while I stood there and waited, putting me in danger of missing my train. I suspect he was trying to get paid double. Stay away!
