Hotel Nikko Dusseldorf

Excellent location! The room is comfortable, the window opens and there is a/c! Water pressure is decent but the water temperature was good! Best breakfast buffet in awhile! Having to pay to use the pool is a downer! The keycard system for the elevator is nice but confusing at first, needs some instructions to figure it out. There’s a Parking Garage, supposedly, but parking is a few blocks away - confusing! Free bottled water in the rooms and a small refrigerator are nice touches! We would stay here again!

We have just returned to the UK after a wonderful four-night stay at Clayton Hotel Düsseldorf. The hotel is conveniently located just a few minutes' walk from Düsseldorf Central Station and less than 5 km from the airport, making our journey extremely easy. There are plenty of restaurants, cafés, street food outlets, and dining options nearby, offering a variety of cuisines. Our kids especially loved the evening ice cream trips. Our room was spacious and comfortable for the whole family. We did encounter a couple of issues during our stay, which can happen anywhere, but what really stood out was the team's excellent service recovery. They were polite, reassuring, responsive, and genuinely focused on resolving any concerns quickly. The breakfast selection was extensive, and this was the first hotel where I noticed dedicated 5-minute and 7-minute boiled egg options. As both my children and I are very particular about how our eggs are cooked, this was a lovely touch. The bar and restaurant also offered a good range of quality food choices throughout our stay. A special shout-out to the entire reception team. The receptionist on our first night did her best to help resolve an issue with our shower, and the receptionist the following day arranged a room move for us. Both were excellent, and the whole team was a pleasure to interact with. I would also like to thank the therapist in the spa who provided our massage treatment. She was professional and excellent at her job. The swimming pool on the 10th floor offered spectacular views, while the steam room and sauna were an added bonus that helped make our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we had a fantastic time at the hotel and would happily recommend it to others visiting Düsseldorf.
