A hotel close to downtown - well positioned!

Very pleasant, comfortable, peaceful hotel rooms, clean, spacious and airy, I recommend it.

This is NOT a 4*superior hotel. The "restaurant" only serves breakfast and is served in a breakfast room NOT a restaurant and should not be referred to as such. As for breakfast, the only hot food served is scrambled egg. No bacon,no sausage,no beans,no mushrooms,no fried/poached eggs, NADA, just scrambled egg!! What 4*superior hotel does that??? The excuse for a "bar"is essentially a counter with a few bottles behind it,adjoining the breakfast room. It's academic because the "bar" was closed because they don't have the staff to man it. What 4*superior hotel does that?? The hotel is located in a nice area,has an excellent rear garden,the room we stayed in was fine with excellent shower facility. It is badly let down by seemingly a fixation on minimising costs. There seemed hardly any staff. Just one female at reception later replaced by one young man at reception. We didn't see anyone else until following morning at Breakfast. 4*superior??? Although advertised as an I.H.G. hotel,it is NOT managed by I.H.G. It is run under license by company called LFPI Management. Something NOT mentioned on the hotel website. Does that explain anything??
