Overall, great hotel. But the issue is the climate control in the room and all the excuses that I received from the front desk after numerous discussions. They had the heating on, along with the heated floors on which they had no control over. The only alternative was open your window, which then made it very noisy. We asked for a fan, but they don’t supply any fans and I couldn’t even get an oven and iron to iron my jacket and shirt. So overall not a pleasant experience. Proulx is wonderful staff wonderful room rooms are nice but attention to detail is not on their list.

Unfortunately, it was extremely heated upon late arrival in the room. The air conditioning didn't work. On request it was said that this was completely switched off in winter, due to heating. Unfortunately, this is not true because the system could not be switched on in the first place. To sleep with the window open, it's way too loud from outside. The next day we wanted to make coffee . This was not possible because there was a short circuit when the kettle was switched on, and the entire power in the room went out. This led to time delays , we had an appointment and not yet showered. Such a thing should not happen in general. The electrics should always be checked and kept up to date – even the aircondition always worked in winter all the years. Unfortunately, it is also incomprehensible to me why it is in identical rooms in the 5th floor. On the 6th floor, only kettles are available. Stock machines with coffee capsules. This is a new very incomprehensible business model
