Residenz Hotel

Poor value for money , we stayed in two rooms, the first was dirty, the TV was broken and the fire safety is insufficient (dangerous). None of the pictures fit the current circumstances. Fire alarms in the rooms covered or dismantled. Attempts are made to renovate the hotel. Breakfast satisfying, not very appetizing.

The pillows were extremely soft but my head just wasn’t high enough with just one The bed sheets were so thin I’d give them to my dog could not get warm or comfortable. Arrived at 3pm and it’s now 8m so I’ve laid in bed for 15 hours with my eyes shut! Nice tv on the wall but no remote Went to have a shower but no shower gel in my room! Doesn’t get much worse. Paid £68 euros and for that price I could have stayed in a Premier Inn but guy pretended he didn’t understand my English when I asked for directions there but that’s where I’m staying today at least I’ll have a double bed proper bed covers and not throws that I’ve tried doubling up to no effect that are so thin they won’t stay on me at all Comfortable bed itself but it’s a split of 2 singles not a double mattress and as for a hotel feels more like a Hostel experience Skipping the breakfast unless it’s free to make up but staff were relatively friendly and helpful but it’s 8am and they’re not even present right now. I just want a proper sleep and shower. But as always don’t expect any of my money back

First I have to say that I only stayed one night in this hotel, but that is probably the maximum amount of time you want to spend here. The hotel does not have WiFi connection, at least it is not working. My room was old, dusty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. We stayed at the top floor which was more like an attic with low ceilings and a small hallway. The hotel is close to the train station which is a good thing, but near a busy road with lots of noise. Even though I only had to pay €35 for the night I think you are much better off choosing another hotel.
