The hotel is a typical fitter and trade fair visitor hotel. It has clean quiet rooms. These are obviously renovated recently with fresh furniture. Comfortable beds, large TV. The shower tray is mounted quite high. The bathroom may be renovated next. The breakfast buffet is very rich but strangely stocked. There are baked beeans, small meatballs, buckwursts, egg salad, coleslaw, meat salad, slices (presumably with traces of cheese). Everything from the big bucket or practically packed. Freshly boiled eggs, after all. The coffee comes from a vending machine that offers a wide selection. The orange juice is even orange. The hotel bar is not used, presumably because of the proximity to the Rü where everything is in abundance. Parking is available as long as available (video monitored). In the immediate vicinity there are otherwise no parking facilities. Suitable for a city break or trade fair, theatre visit.

Very friendly welcome. Room mix between somewhat dated and recently refurbished, but looks fine. Also neat and clean. Just the mattress and pillow really hard. Breakfast tasty bean coffee, boiled eggs, but the bread basket was empty except for 3 sandwiches. Also partly cover, etc. So we were just lucky. Room at the rear nice and quiet, while the lively part of the city with restaurants etc. is literally around the corner.

I was very happy with this hotel as it was with a good crew and also with high quality service. Rooms clean and have a better breakfast. My regards for all the team who works there. The hotel is near the Essen Hbf, and is not far away of the Baldeneysee, an experience which must be done. In general Essen is a quiet city and people are friendly. Good experience.
