Akzent Hotel Saltenhof

On the round trip to Holland we stayed at Akzent Hotel Satenhof. We had a modern double room in the new building. The room is very clean and well maintained, very bright through the 2 windows in the room, located on the ground floor with private terrace and views of the countryside. The bed is very comfortable with nice linen. The bathroom is also spacious with a window, showering under the rain shower was relaxing as the walls with forest motif make us feel like we are standing in the. forest. In the morning we got a good breakfast, the young service person was very friendly and attentive and asked us several times if we still have a wish. Due to water damage, the historic main house is currently still closed, the terrace cover was also heavily damaged during the last heavy rain, the owner is waiting for permits for repairs. We sat at breakfast in the beautiful conservatory . All in all, we can recommend the hotel as the rooms in the new building are modern and well maintained.

We were travelling and had stayed here before. This time however a quieter time and but we loved being guests (along with our dog). Lovely room was prepared for us - all very newly fitted with fabulous location which you would not think possible on driving to the hotel. Quiet and beautiful- with lovely walks just steps from the hotel. Personal service for breakfast. The staff could not do enough for us. Thank you - we will be back.

Booked this hotel on our return trip from Denmark. The booking was made back in September on booking.com. On arrival the hotel was found to be closed. Not contacted by either hotel or booking.com avoid
