I have been using the hotel for many years and have always felt in good hands here. Friendly staff and good beds. On my last stay, I left my wallet in the room safe. Only after multiple inquiries I got the answer that they did not find the safe had been empty. That was the end of the case. I am appalled by the indifference of the staff and the management. I have now filed a complaint.

Guest in the context of an on-site conference: Meeting rooms nice, well ventilated and lit with good acoustics; room facilities according to expectations, superficially clean (cobwebs in many corners, partly inhabited- so nothing for spider phobics), spa very clean and pretty made (unfortunately the steam bath smelled musty), breakfast was varied and appealing (only fried bacon unfortunately dried), the biggest disaster of the hotel is unfortunately the evening gastronomy, on which you as a conference guest are somewhat dependent due to the lonely location of the hotel: Dishes and Service definitely not ****plus: Buffet in the house: Plastic in dessert, tomato stalk in sauce, meat dry, no refilling of salad one hour before the end of the buffet, no award of food, significantly overpriced (attention: a higher amount was requested than advertised on the Internet and only reduced to demand), a cover letter to the room number was not possible/immediate payment had to be made, beer garden: according to reception and Internet open until 9 pm, but already at just after 8 pm, no food was dispensed despite illuminated menu boards; with 2 exceptions, the staff seemed like purely untrained temporary staff both at reception (out of sustainability, daily housekeeping was refused on arrival at reception and nevertheless carried out) and especially in the catering (e.g. serving vessels set up against the running direction at the buffet, completely uncoordinated service, unprofessional serving of drinks, clearing of the last glass in company, public division of buffet scraps among staff after buffet closing in the presence of guests); but almost all in every situation friendly and helpful; the drink menu was only pressed out on several questions, the very good and funny Service at the evening hotel bar was a personal bright spot-thank you. Tip: Order dinner in the evening with delivery service from the Italian in Neuss and enjoy in the beautiful beer garden

The night at the Bauhaus Hotel is an absolutely great experience. The rooms are nice and modern, and everything is very clean – there really is nothing to complain about. The breakfast buffet is first class and leaves nothing to be desired. The whole ambience of the hotel is very pleasant and clean. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I felt very comfortable and have been here several times. I will definitely come back. I was particularly impressed by my stay in a tree chalet with sauna and terrace. It was really nice and quiet. The grounds of the chalets are only accessible by room card, so you have peace and quiet there and are not disturbed by other guests. In the evening it's totally quiet, and you can only hear noises from the neighboring chalet. You also hear quite little about the road, except for seasonal reasons, when snow is transported all night at Christmas, for example. I had a chalet in the back area overlooking the back of the climbing park. The chalets on the other side had a view of the walkway and the front rows of the chalets. The bedroom is rather small but offers a wonderful view into the trees through floor-to-ceiling windows. The room was equipped with a coffee machine, an electric kettle and a bottle of water. Pads for the chairs outside were in the closet, as was a hairdryer. For the sauna there were bathrobes, disposable slippers and extra bath towels. Unfortunately, there were no pads for the loungers on the terrace. Unfortunately, there are no secure parking areas for motorcycles, which was a bit of a shame as a motorcyclist traveling alone. All in all it was a very pleasant stay, and I can fully recommend the Bauhaus Hotel. I will definitely come back!
