Holiday Inn Moenchengladbach

Stayed for just the one night, but was impressed for sure. Large, airy room with excellent air conditioning, well equipped with everything you may need, including an in house android pad to access newspapers etc etc... Helpful and pleasant staff, fluent in English which for me was a blessing. The buffet breakfast is to be recommended, the selection of food on offer is exceptional. My room, the 'superior' selection was at the back of the hotel and was very quiet, and as I have stated earlier, large and airy - spotlessly clean too. My only gripe is the lack of English TV channels, but as I was only there for one night, was not too much of an issue. Great vaue!

Hotel looks bad from the outside, but the hotel rooms are fine. We were in the weekend because of match of Borussia Mönchengladbach. There were a lot of supporters in the hotel. Breakfast was very, very good. Plenty present and lots of variety. Hotel bar pretty cozy. Bar stools and chairs need replacement. Overall picture: fine for a night, but on the expensive side.

The hotel is old The room decoration is old and the floor ir covered with carpet, with stains... The bathroom looks also oldfashioned and it has a tub!!! How many people still use the tub? Personnel try not to talk to you. They do not salute. Breakfast is OK although trying to find a table can be challeging. Not going back, if I can.
