Hotel Jan van Werth

Regrettably they have sold a large part of the downstairs and there is no longer a bar or restaurant, this came as a bit of a shock when I returned this Sunday. The breakfast room is now opposite room 15 ( which I am in) and if you want to sleep past 08.00 avoid it big time as it gets noisy. Such a shame, now just bed and breakfast.

Me and a friend travelled here for an international tennis tournanent and stayed here for a week. The hotel was great, very clean and provided a professional service. The woman at breakfast was always extremely helpful and made us fresh scrambled egg every morning which was awesome!

I have stayed here for many years, rather than stay in Dusseldorf when a trade fair is on this hotel offers a little bit of home away from the inflated prices for a shoe box size rooms. The staff are great and it is easy to get to the Messe via the S8 and then UBahn.
