Hotel National

This small family run hotel is located in a quiet area in Dusseldorf. It is maybe 10 min taxi drive to old town, we did not try the public transportation but saw stops closeby the hotel. Rooms are pretty small but clean and there is everything you need for a short stay. You can open the windows and there is aircon as well. Best part was the breakfast. There was plenty to choose from, different types of breads, cheeses, meats, youghurts, berries fruits and 4 different types of juices. Really tasty and nice layout too. If you are ok with a location bit further from old town, this is a good oprion to stay!

Nice hotel, slightly outside the center, but public transport in the very immediate vicinity, as well as restaurants, super brands etc. On foot Altstadt is in about, 20 min. Parking directly behind hotel available at a totally acceptable price. Friendly welcome, room was already available before check-in time. Nice spacious rooms with good bed and neat bathroom. Only problem could be the temperature in summer because an air conditioning is missing. Great breakfast buffet that is regularly replenished. On next trip to Düsseldorf I would book this hotel again immediately.

Small but very fine! Centrally located hotel, very friendly staff and reception, rooms are tiptop clean, insanely varied breakfast buffet with SO many fresh fruits and homemade jams. Thank you again!
