Rheinischer Hof

If your expectations aren't that high, you can have a good night's sleep there. The rooms have a few shortcomings, but they were clean! The breakfast selection is rather simple. You can manage for a night or two.

I reserved 4 single rooms as requested by email, giving the full details of the people travelling with me. After 6 days we still hadn't received a confirmation, so I called and asked, and the employee said he would look into it. Shortly after the phone call I received an email saying that my email had probably ended up in the spam folder and that they thought we no longer needed the rooms and had therefore sold the 4 rooms on. I think that's a disgrace. It was agreed that I had to reserve the 4 rooms by email by 2 p.m. on the day in question, so it's only understandable that I regularly check not only my inbox but also my spam folder.

We were in apartments which was a 15 minute drive away. The apartments belong to this hotel. Our rooms were fine, beds are high (nice) but hard. Unfortunately, we were bothered by noises and sometimes from the neighbors. For the rest it was fine and clean.
