rooms are not soundproof, the fitness centre "downstairs" has music playing loudly and clearly the sound of equipment banging until after 11pm and starts again early morning, resorted to putting noise cancelling headphones on to get to sleep. get up early for breakfast as you run the risk of no milk for the coffee machine and no one to be found to help

Rooms were a bit oll but perfectly OK and clean.
Rest of the hotel was a construction site (and I mean that literally. The whole thing is wrapped up, and it was rebuilt and/or renovated)
For a business trip, company booked a night for Saturday at the hotel on Thursday.
It was openly communicated that it is a company booking and no one works in the office on weekends, which is why you need all the information until Friday, as the travelers (we) arrive independently.
Nevertheless, the code for the late check in only arrived on Saturday afternoon (day of overnight stay) by mail to the booking office.
Since there is no one in the office on Saturday afternoon, we received this information accordingly.
OK, stupid situation. This is not ideal with the late info, but can happen.
When we arrived at the hotel at half past 1 at night, the counter was not occupied and we did not have a code for the safe. So we were in front of the closed door. So we called the 24 hour phone number of the hotel.
The employee on the phone insisted that they had sent an email. They have all our information to let us in theoretically. But the staff member was more important to discuss that we do not come in, because you sent a mail and you should have informed yourself about it and besides that you are not to blame in the house (at night at half past 1 in front of a locked hotel and discussing it is great) .
We were surprised at the unwillingness to resolve this situation in the easiest way. We'd have to wake up the employee in the office, please, because she didn't forward the mail. The colleague on the 24-hour phone number is not to blame.
After some unnecessary discussion, the staff member came and left us clean. Btw without us having to identify ourselves.
The Moegen was then just as entertaining:
At breakfast was shown with signs what they could offer for breakfast... but it was very much nothing as half to 3/4 of the display was empty (complete vegan section was empty. There was no fruit either. All the more funny the sign at the sandwich machine that you can get creative). The sausage had been standing a little while. At least the discolouration made the appearance.
After all, a poor employee who apparently had to intercept the entire hotel operation alone made scrambled eggs. With, unfortunately, eggshell pieces.
The reception was not staffed and another guest had to meet the woman who helped out in the kitchen ("I'm not really in charge here. Colleague called in sick at short notice") ask to let him out of the underground car park, as she seems to be the only employee in the house and the reception telephone number is also not answered and he can neither cache nor drive away.
I don't know if we checked out. Nobody was there.
In hindsight, a funny story, as the hotel probably will soon.
Definitely not worth 130 euros a night.

The hotel is located on the 5th floor of a shopping centre and can be reached via an elevator. The reception is located on the ground floor. The room (18) I had was relatively large, about 25 sqm, with air conditioning and minibar. The sockets next to the beds are very difficult to reach, these are under the shelf. You cannot reach them without kneeling on the floor. Overall, the room for a 4-star hotel was a bit spoiled, but still ok.
Very annoying and negative was the polish of the gym located on the 4 floor. Until about 11:30 p.m. one hears constantly more polished, of very likely weights, dumbbells or devices.
