Haus Kastanienhof

Staff very unfriendly, rooms not heated, plaster falls off the walls, cupboards very unstable, beds very narrow, no service, breakfast rolls are served with a dog on your arm, defects are dismissed as unjustified

Had booked an EZ with breakfast for 2 nights. Room was simple but clean and functional. It should like to be refurbished. Since I couldn't get the TV working, I asked the Owner to help me. He did it right away. Breakfast was fully fine, next door a jugo where there was very delicious food. Glad you didn't have to leave the house for that.

I had a single room and I was here for a week. The place seems to have been recently refurbished. Mostly immaculate but there were signs of things that still seemed to need some attention. The single bed was interesting. The matress keeps sliding off the bed when you sat on the edge. and the pillow was very big, about the size of 2 average UK pillows but was as soft as jelly (no exaggeration). The location was predominantly suburban and extremely quiet. I care not for continental breakfast but that is included in the price.
