We stayed here because it is not far from the Koenig Pilsner Arena where we were seeing Rod Stewart in concert . The hotel was very clean and modern and the rooms were amazing . The staff were all really friendly and we would definitely stay again

The hotel itself is noticeably older but, is nicely maintained. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are older but, clean and with windows you can open. They do need to invest in some new pillows but, other than that the bed was very comfortable. It is within walking distance to shopping, grocery, and food but, the bigger shopping area with more options is about a 10 minute taxi ride away. WIFI was included but, it did not work at all.

I used it as a base for a trade show in Essen, together with my colleagues. Well positioned as near to the motorway's junction and with enough space to conveniently park the car, it was a little bit noisy at night. Free wifi perfectly functioning. Large room with very old and dusty moquette, and also aged furnitures. The bathroom was small and unfortunately not very clean with hair (not mine) on the floor in the sink and in the shower, for all the four days I stayed. Breakfast was ok and the restaurant quite good. Price too high but not too much considering it was in the period of the show.
