The hotel is completely outdated. I had a dark little single room about 12 sqm to the main road. There are also the parking spaces “in front” of the hotel! My room had a broken lock! Then I pushed my suitcase out the door! Breakfast was ok if you like Aldi cold cuts! Spa area is in the annex, just like the breakfast room!

We found this a convenient place to stay -- right on the tram line and only 4 stops from the main train station. We had two solo rooms and they were very clean. The breakfast was varied, good and served in a very pleasant room. There was a grocery store not too far away, and at least one good restaurant within walking distance. We were very pleased with this hotel that was quite convenient for visit. There are two things that travelers should be aware of . . .while there are rooms on the first floor, many of the rooms require you to use stairs -- including the breakfast room. We also found the shower floors slippery when exiting the showers and special care has to be taken to avoid to be safe.

The hotel is located on a busy street in the inner city of Mülheim, not easy to find if you don't know it. My room was very large and clean, but clearly showing its age. There was a small kitchen in the room including accessories - that's quite unusual. All the staff I dealt with were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is OK and nicely prepared, egg dishes are freshly prepared on request. WiFi works and is quite fast. The parking situation is difficult: there are 3-4 narrow parking spaces in front of the door, which are not enough anyway. If they are then blocked by vehicles with Mülheim license plates, which are presumably not hotel guests, it is even more annoying. Otherwise, good luck finding a parking space.
