Mauritzhof Hotel Munster

rooms was on the smallish side. King size bed had 2 mattresses pushed together and I could definitely feel the gap when turning. Location is excellent, with a park like bike / pedestrian path on one side. The front of the hotel faces a busy street, so windows really can’t be opened. Do not expect any Bonvoy Benefits. No breakfast, no upgrade, nothing. Maybe they are mad at Marriott, it seems like I got the worst room as a titanium member. Parking is not available, you are directed to a surface lot that is across the street.

We enjoyed a 2 night stay with our dogs in this beautiful modern hotel. From the moment you arrive you are made to feel very welcome. We had a lovely room overlooking the promenade which was very comfortable and had everything you needed. The dogs enjoyed their little treats too. There is a lovely terrace at the back of the hotel where we enjoyed a couple of drinks each evening. The hotel is located in a great position for a short walk into the city which has plenty of character and places to see. We didn’t eat in the hotel having found a lovely restaurant opposite called Brotundsalz which serves beautiful food in a lovely setting. I would definitely recommend a stay here 😀

Smooth check-in/check-out, staff very friendly, unobtrusive, well-thought-out design throughout the entire hotel, upscale a la carte breakfast
