Arriving here at this hotel after a long trip. All paid in advance at TUI in HP . After about 1 h I personally had a heavy internal bleeding myself 🩸 which forced me to go to the hospital and could not continue my stay . Returned the keys and asked the female manager because this was a case of force majeure , if we could possibly come back at a later date to take this paid 3 days . However , the lady saw it differently , her answer was very short and without thinking . NO sir, not even a single word, ask about my problem , or can we do something for you , or do you need help . This hotel management disappoints me greatly and is absolutely not a model of what a customer means to them ... A life lesson at . Think about it after hotel mercure bad Durkheim .. You are not to your credit as a management.

If you think of something familiar under the brand name 'Mercure', you will quickly be taught something better here. Location: Directly at the salt pans and accordingly very quiet. Large parking (5€ / 24h) right in front. Hotel: A huge box that seems inconspicuous from the outside. As soon as you enter the building, you realize that there is nothing 'Mercure' here. Odour, furnishings and lighting are still at the level of the 70s. The same goes for the elevators, floors and corridors to the rooms. Partly it feels like an ancient youth hostel - and smells like it. Employees: Without exception, friendly staff - whether at the reception or at breakfast. Rooms: It stays with the 70s. The entire facility is ancient. Only the mattresses seem to be new. A small balcony with salt pan views is still part of the package. The bed was comfortable and clean. Floors, shelves and the bathroom were not necessarily clean. Breakfast: A very large breakfast buffet, which can be found in a room corresponding to the rest of the hotel. The choice is sufficient and the majority tastes good. Coffee and co. are brought fresh to the table.

We were fortunate to have an excellent room with balcony and views of the salt flats, less quiet but less warm than those located on the other side. The rooms are quite small but well equipped. Access to the Salinarium aquatic complex (very popular and still under construction this year) and parking are free, it is a great advantage. Breakfast always offers a very wide choice but for those who stay on half board, the evening meals are not at all up to what we experienced before Covid, it has become very limited. Staff in general very friendly. Very good for the price.
