The staff and the owners are very friendly, attentive, and nice; our stay in the comfortable atmosphere was very pleasant, and we would love to come back. We can also highly recommend the cuisine; all in all, it was a lovely vacation.

A truly thoughtfully family-run hotel. You can feel that the guest is the focus here. The well-maintained house radiates its history and tradition. A conscious decision was made here to preserve the old. Beautiful hallways and stairwells with mirrors and pictures in the style of long-gone times. We had a very nice room facing the Ahr with a private balcony and enjoyed the view of the old chestnut trees along the quiet riverside road. The bed was very comfortable, the room nicely furnished. The newly added wellness area left nothing to be desired: large, light-flooded swimming pool with whirlpool, also with wall decorations adapted to the old style, two different saunas, solarium, and a beautiful garden area, all very clean. The restaurant is especially worth mentioning. Rich, high-quality breakfast, which we enjoyed in a relaxed manner on the terrace. Meanwhile, the interior areas of the restaurant are also very cozy and elegantly furnished. The small but fine menu offers excellent dishes that can be accompanied by a large selection of wines. The staff is always attentive, authentic, and focused on the guest without radiating professional friendliness. It is nice that the owner serves guests himself. This further underscores the hospitality we experienced. We would love to come back!

Well, what can I say?! The staff is really very nice and endeavoured. But ! The hotel is really VERY old , the rooms more than worn out ! With the prices, I didn't expect that. The food - honestly was underground soup cold , main course without taste , dessert ok . Breakfast was good. Wellness area is new and beautiful.
