Schloss Hotel Landstuhl

While I have stayed in at least five Landstuhl hotels, I often choose the Schloss simply because it offers easy parking, a great bar and restaurant, a decent breakfast, a comfortable sleep, a bit of exercise, and some great employees. I am not sure why it is rated six of six, but I like it. I think they made some renovations to the rooms as my room looked newly refreshed. I stayed here again with a team of eight people. We enjoyed happy hour every night before dinner and again after dinner. I find this place always dependable. Give it a chance!

I recently spent another week in Landstuhl for work at LRMC. I enjoy staying in the Schloss because I get a great workout after eating down the hill in the city. It is quite the hike up. The staff is friendly. I love the two ladies that work at the bar and restaurant. They took great care of me and my colleagues. The breakfast is not incredible, bit it does get the job done. It really is a pretty place to spend some time in nature.

I do not recommend this hotel. We were traveling for medical purposes from Italy and when our daughter was discharged from the hospital we made the bad choice of staying at this hotel. Not only were we asked to take 2 rooms instead of one (2adults and a5 year old child) but also the manager/owner was very rude when I was simply asking for information and for his help to find a parking place for my friend. Being unhelpful as a host is bad but arrogant and rude on top of that was too much! We cut our week stay short and moved to the Golding Hotel where we were warmly welcomed and are being treated with warmth and kindness.
