Airport Hotel Dresden

We were there with 3 couples. We were warmly welcomed at the reception. The rooms were clean but in need of renovation. In one room, the curtains had holes. Power outlets were in short supply. Fortunately, we had a power strip with an extension cord with us. The lighting in one bathroom was defective above the mirror, and a desk lamp was also not working. The lighting in the hallways was partially defective, making everything very dark. The signs for the rooms were quite inconspicuous. The breakfast was diverse and good. Unfortunately, the service lady was alone and could not keep up with the restocking quickly. Upon arrival, we were informed about a tour group and their breakfast time. If we had wanted it to be quiet, it would have been advisable to have breakfast before or after them. One morning, we only had cold water, so showering was out of the question! Very annoying! There was also no one at the reception to whom we could have reported it.

I booked a night at this hotel. Unfortunately, the reception is only open until 11 pm. Due to a very late flight in the evening I wanted to clarify the arrangements for a late check-in. I've been trying to get someone on the phone for over a week. There was also no response to emails from the hotel. In the end, I even got stuck on the accommodation costs and then had to stay somewhere else. I have never experienced such a poor service to the customer.

Have «landed » at the Dormeo airport hotel in the evening due to a cancelled flight and are accordingly in a good mood. Also the taxi driver was really unhappy, he waited for guests at the airport for a long time to drive us 1.5 km to the hotel. The hotel was all the more gratifying for this. Beautiful, clean hotel with very friendly staff, intercepted by a cheerfully beaming gentleman at the reception (outside freezing rain) and the kitchen service staff early in the morning of the following morning unsuspected helped fix the broken zipper of our suitcase with tape. The room and bathroom were very clean. The beds with 90 cm width were not very adapted to our bodies and I pillows like mattresses gave too little cause for joy. Thanks to multiple plugs with extension cable, our devices could also be charged at the 1 socket without any problems. Otherwise,,,,? The breakfast for it was again excellent. Price/performance and friendliness top.
