Art'otel Dresden by Park Plaza

I stayed at the Penck for the first time and look back on my stay with satisfaction. The rooms have a slightly different style than a typical hotel, but they are functionally furnished. I really liked it. The reception at the front desk was well organized, yet professionally sober. I could not take advantage of the breakfast. Overall, for one night, the quality and price were perfectly acceptable, but nothing more.

The hotel is okay if you like the artistic style. We received an upgrade to a junior suite. It should have actually raised our suspicions. In any case, it features a floor-to-ceiling window front, and the retractable blinds rattled in the wind all night. Hardly any sleep. Falls into the category of "the opposite of well done..." so better to forgo the well-intentioned upgrade... and take a normal, hopefully quiet room instead.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. On the occasion of our wedding anniversary, we found a small surprise on a nicely set breakfast table. A very lovingly written card accompanying a small gift. We even received an upgrade. The breakfast was very good. The hotel is very centrally located.
