Best Western Macrander Dresden

The Hotel Macrander Dresden I liked overall! It has the familiar Best Western flair, which suits me very much. The staff is super nice and helpful, which makes the stay really enjoyable. Prices for the overnight stay are more than fair, and the quiet, clean rooms contribute to recovery. The parking garage is another plus. A minor drawback is that check-in at the Courtyard Hotel is behind the main building and the reception is not staffed throughout. This irritated me a bit at first, but the friendly staff solved all my questions quickly. If you stay several days, you should order the housekeeping on arrival, which is a bit impractical. In addition, the smart control of the heaters on the first evening ensured cooler temperatures in my room and bathroom. Overall, a recommended place for travelers who value good Price quality ratio!

Nice place, with excellent breakfast service. A very rich and varied buffet, we loved it. Great selection, with fresh, delicious stuff, hot as well as cold food. It was always freshly replenished. I would book there again at any time. Very nice staff / inside.

When I arrived, the reception was unmanned, the advertised pool belonged to the neighboring hotel, I had to go outside in my bathing suit, only to be asked to pay at the reception of the Marriott, to which the pool actually belongs! The hotel itself completely failed to mention this during two conversations about when the pool was open and how to find the pool! When I left, I had to wait 5 minutes for the computer system because "some things were still open", only to be told that this was probably a mistake and that they wished me a nice day.
