Gastehaus Stadt Metz

This is a very good hotel in a very handy location in Dresden, and it's excellent value for money. The owner is friendly and efficient, and makes a terrific breakfast. The apartment we had was very generous for two - lots of room and all the facilities we needed. The hotel and apartments are very near the Dresden Neustadt railway station and it only takes 10-15 minutes to walk along the Elbe to Dresden old town. Highly recommended.

We stayed 2 nights - the only downside was the staircase to the room!! However, our wonderful host, Tino, helped us with our bags. Otherwise, the location was great with the trams just outside, and a 15 minute walk to the old city center. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Tino also gave great recommendations for places to visit and eat. We had a very lovely time there.

Gastehaus Stadt Metz is in an excellent location with two tram lines crossing right next to it to go to City centre or Neustadt. The room we had was quite large consisting a sitting area, bed and another seperate dining area and a bathroom. All areas were spacious and heated well. On our arrival and departure manager Tino Schuster carried our two suitcases up and down on stairs as there was no lift. Room serviced daily and staff were very friendly and warm. Very highly recommended for any single, couple or family travellers. We can not comment about breakfast as we opted out. We slept well despite the room was in street side with trams running. Payment in cash or by card possible.
