Motel One Dresden- Palaisplatz

As before, we stayed in a Motel One. The room clean and functional. Rather small but very inexpensive. Staff very friendly and helpful. In the evenings, the bar serves original drinks.

Hotel in a very central location Positive 1. Booking worked well. 2. Beds are great 3. Cleanliness is ok. 4. Staff are friendly throughout. 5. Parking in the house 6. All well organized for profit Negative 1. Rooms are very small 2. Rooms spartan equipped 3. Parking is very expensive in the underground car park (prefer to park outside in the public car park) 4. Breakfast not stunning Overall impression: Average. But great beds. Restaurant are nearby but not in the house. Other restaurants of all tastes are within walking distance (Dresden !!). For Dresden certainly great price .

The hotel rooms are much too small. The size is like a broom closet. Most of the staff are friendly but some are completely overwhelmed. I also find it questionable that you just get a new room card if you lose it. We were not asked for our names or any other personal information. So anyone can come and say they have lost their hotel card. Breaking in is easy here.
