Quality Hotel Plaza Dresden

We really liked the hotel. It is a bit outside on the Neustadt side, but there is a tram station nearby, and with the tram, you can quickly reach downtown or other neighborhoods. The room is spacious, modern, and clean; the bathroom is also quite large and comfortable. The theme of 'music' is lovingly implemented throughout the house. The breakfast room has plenty of space, and the breakfast itself offers a diverse selection of many delicious items. There are many staff members in the breakfast room; missing items are promptly replenished, used dishes are quickly cleared away, and the tables are cleaned. €15 per day for a parking space in the underground garage (double parker) is not a bargain, but still acceptable; however, you can also park outside for €12. What definitely deserves a point deduction is the intrusive begging for tips. Everywhere – in the rooms, on the tables in the breakfast room, at the reception, etc. – there are displays reminding guests to give tips. I like to give tips, but I do not appreciate being pressured to do so.

Already at check-in at the reception it started: The reception was warm and the organization just great. The service runs like a thread throughout the house – absolutely professional, attentive and always with a smile. The rooms are wonderfully designed, very clean and the beds offer a sleeping comfort that you rarely find. A special highlight was the breakfast: The selection and quality were just great and a perfect start to the day. The sauna area also invites you to relax. But what impressed me most was: As a wheelchair user, you are not only ‘thought along’ here, but also really actively and courteously supported. The team is extremely helpful and professional in dealing with special requirements. You really feel welcome and in good hands here. An absolutely first-class hotel that I can only recommend to everyone. I will definitely come back!”

The hotel is stylishly unique. The location is good, to the tram you walk 5 min. And drives 10 minutes to the opera. The bed was good, room spacious. Breakfast was good. But: at an overnight price of 200 € I expect that the bathrobe for the sauna is incl. The room lacks a safe and a bottle of water, kettle and tea would have been nice at the price. The breakfast buffet is also missing the salmon for 200 €.
