A And O City Hostel Hauptbahnhof Dresden

Our first room was the toilet not done clean and the fleee of our layered rog duvets had distinct gile spots. We got a new room and it was better but still very sneaky. There's a sign on the walls, somewhere dirty and you shouldn't look in the corners. However, the staff is friendly and the breakfast is excellent. This is the second time I stay at an A&O hotel and it will probably be my last time.

My room was dirty, with trash on the windowsill and hair in the bed. Trash can in the bathroom was filled by the previous guest. Absolutely disrespectful what is expected of a "guest" here.

Never again this hostel; the price/performance ratio does not match at all. We paid 365.28 euros for 4 nights and slept in a 6 square meter mouse hole. Cleanliness is taken very lightly here. The description states that the hostel is near the train station, which is true... but it does not mention that the train line is 30 meters away and that freight trains pass through the mouse hole every 10 minutes. The mini-bathroom is simply disgustingly dirty. I only showered again at home 🤮. Only the staff is worthy of praise. Always friendly and accommodating.
