Hotel Adler Leipzig

Hotel overall very worn out, unpleasant, indefinable smell throughout the entire hotel, room very small, furniture very old, we had also booked an extra bed for our grandson, this bed took some getting used to, bathroom in contrast to the room very spacious, positive - 2 sinks, bathtub with shower curtain instead of a shower, breakfast room very worn out, pieced-together furniture, not very inviting, used as an ice cream parlor during the day, Breakfast was (despite our expectations) very good, good selection of cold cuts and cheese, scrambled eggs and boiled eggs and vegetables as a side dish, yogurt, muesli, rolls, toast, milk and two juices were offered, unfortunately the coffee was only lukewarm, but otherwise the breakfast was good overall. Staff very nice, after 10 PM the hotel is locked, you could open it with a PIN if it worked..., for us it didn't work for 2 nights. Help came after a phone call. Our conclusion - we would not book again, Better to spend a few euros more.

I didn't like the much too small breakfast room. All seats were taken. No dishes no clean cutlery available. I was downstairs twice for breakfast. You don't have to pay extra for that.

There was very poor cleaning in the room and the hotel otherwise. Waste was not discharged after previous guests, it was also very dusty. Smelled of smoke in the room, not sure if it was from the smoking area under the window or if there was smoking room earlier.
