Best Western Hotel Am Schlosspark

We were registered at the hotel in June at 39 degrees and returned at night from a party. The house was dark, even the emergency lighting was insufficient. There was no light on in the room of our 81-year-old mother. Staff was not in the building on Friday night. The "emergency phone" was occupied by AI and transferred me further. The man on the other end simply said, "you need to check the power box" and hung up. I only shared further calls with the AI, which could no longer transfer me. In the morning, I was told that the problem was known. When using the air conditioning (see temperature above), condensation water disables the house's electrical system. Great service for 4 stars!!

I was very disappointed with the stay at the Rugs Hotel. On my arrival the room did not make a clean impression: It was dusty, the fridge was clearly dirty, and the window seemed so loose or unstable when opened that I worried it might come loose. In addition, several guests of my wedding experienced significant problems despite confirmed bookings, as to my knowledge rooms were not available as expected. This led to unnecessary chaos and additional stress for us. The breakfast I found mediocre; unfortunately, it could not convince me in terms of taste. Overall, the stay with me left a very unprofessional impression. My rating of the company additionally deteriorated after my original Google rating was removed. Especially in the case of objective criticism, I would have liked a more professional approach to customer feedback. I was very unhappy and will not book the hotel again.

Star rating: (2/5 – would be 1 star, but the crumbs and dust under the bed and on the carpet deserve the extra point) Content: What a refreshing return to a former favourite house! The rugs hotel has become a real discovery – especially for guests who: Love archaeology (who finds the most crumbs in the carpet and on the furniture?) Appreciate technology nostalgia (defective tablet as dusty retro artwork!) Like surprise effects (Working room safe? No, totally overrated!) Particularly impressive: The innovative no-invoice concept! When I requested a separate invoice for my business stay (June 1) – with the prior agreement of the Lord at the reception – I was able to experience hotel management of a new kind: "Bill? Oh, that was just a joke!" Even my multiple inquiries (by phone, then mail and finally registered mail to the management!) were probably understood as an interactive guest game: "Who's been silent the longest?" A must for tax advisors: Here you learn how to interpret § 14 UStG creatively. Or black money coffers. You're stupid. That was officially debited from my credit card. Does anyone notice anything...?! And the staff! A wonderful international troupe – the communication may not always work, but who needs words when dustflakes dance under the chair and "guests" express wishes? I'm sorry I disturbed her. Future tip: Maybe replace the ventilation in the breakfast room with ovens? The area would then be perfect for rolls – and guests – to bake on. Conclusion: It was only with difficulty that I could try to make this ridiculous. Unbelievable and hard to understand! I've never dealt with it like this before! If you want to experience the hotel industry deconstructed and "innovative" – here is the place! My "overnight stay" has to be billed by the company without VAT deduction due to missing invoice. No place to return for me, unfortunately... unless the IRS is interested in my records. Incidentally, the hotel has NEVER commented on the allegations despite attempts to contact the hotel by telephone, mail and registered mail. That's what I call "customer orientation" - we always strive...
