The Parkhotel is not only beautifully situated by the Wilhelm Wunderlich Park, it is also centrally located to the city, as well as to the bus stop and the train station. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired; there is something for every taste. Perhaps the coffee pots should only be placed on the table once the guests have taken their seats. Then the coffee would also still be hot. It is just a great pity that some of the breakfast service staff seem to belong to a silent order. One would appreciate a few words in the morning.

Barely 4 points, but they are well achieved by the staff and the breakfast. Very friendly and passionate about their work. Dinner was also very tasty, even if the rabbit had a few dry parts. The rooms are very spacious but the house really needs some investment, otherwise it looks bad. What was unfortunately not possible for me - again only mitigated by the staff and the food - was getting into an unheated room. After almost 9 hours on the bike in the (again) cold and, on this day, wet April, there was no feel-good factor...

This beautiful old hotel is very clean and charming. Although built in the early 1900s, all the rooms have the normal modern amenities of today’s hotels. Rooms are large with high ceilings and tall windows. The only down side, we were there during a hot July and there was no air-conditioning. However, the well-stocked, hot and cold, breakfast buffet was excellent. He outside patio bar was great for having a night-cap before turning in. The staff was very friendly and anxious to help you in any way.
