This is a nice hotel in a central location. The young lady at the reception welcomed us very kindly. The rooms are functional; here and there, the wear and tear of time is evident (carpet, hairdryer, elevator, the sink drain did not work well), but everything was clean and the beds were comfortable. With summer temperatures and no air conditioning, we opened the window at night (facing the street), which unfortunately led to disturbances of our sleep a few times - for a single overnight stay, it was not a big deal. The breakfast was great; we did not miss anything. Here, too, there was an exceptionally friendly young employee, while two others in the service could not manage to offer a greeting or a smile. All in all, recommendable with minor drawbacks.

First and foremost for any hotel, cleanliness and this hotel is very clean, super! Second, location and this could not be more convenient right downtown. I had a junior suite on the 3rd floor, but the elevator worked, and the room was comfortable and all looked new. No problems for me with noise, and I generally found the hotel to be cozy and comfortable. I chose to pay for parking in an underground parking garage right under the hotel, very convenient. Two small detractors are that the internet is quite slow and feels very much like it needs an upgrade and that all the TV channels are in German so not much use for the foreign guests.

We booked directly through the hotel's homepage. When we arrived, there was no reservation. This was not in the system. We were lucky and there was one room left. Now we should pay more than in our written reservation. The next day (just before Christmas) when checking out we were not wished a good trip and also no nice Christmas days. We stay at this hotel several times a year. Unfortunately, that will change now.
