Hotel Lili Marleen

· We stayed in an apartment from Lili Marleen 7 years ago and were satisfied back then as well. We arrived with 4 adults and one toddler. We had booked a cottage that should be suitable for the number of people. This is definitely not the case. The upper area consists of an open space with a double bed and a crib. A small separate room with a single bed is attached to it. The upper area is only accessible by a very steep and smooth staircase. As an adult, this is already a challenge; with a toddler in your arms, it is borderline. A sturdy stair gate can be installed. The lower area consists of an open space that is supposed to serve as a sleeping and living area. Since there is only an armchair available as seating, the bed must be converted into a sofa, and the bedding must be stored somewhere to even be able to sit there. And even then, it is neither cozy nor sufficient for 5 people. From this open space, the bathroom leads off, and you can access the kitchen. This is okay so far; however, there was too little cutlery, and there were only 3 chairs and a small kitchen table, so we had to add a bulky garden table and a high chair, which was more than cramped. On the first morning, we had good weather, so we could have breakfast outside on the terrace. The bathroom was sufficiently large. Towels were provided for 2 people and were replenished upon request; we were also given a high chair and a vacuum cleaner. The rod of the shower curtain fell from the wall while showering. There are few to no play options within the apartment, as the space simply is not sufficient. Except for the bedroom and bathroom, everything is open; the curtains do not block out light, and everything is very noisy. Beds are not suitable for adults. Contact was friendly and nice. Unfortunately, it was not worth the price. What a pity. Nevertheless, I thank you for allowing us to check in early and check out later. Unfortunately, we had to leave the evening before departure due to illness.

The hotel consists of several small buildings in the old center of Travemünde is a gem among the accommodations in which we were allowed to be guests until now. The Deilmann couple who run the hotel put a lot of passion into the individual design of the rooms and all other rooms. We got the bridal suite even though I forgot to confirm the answer to my Reservation and even though there was no wedding coming up. A very comfortable bed. The highlight, however, was the rich breakfast buffet with everything imaginable. Mr. Deilmann is incredibly friendly and helpful. Hopefully we will meet his wife next time.

We LOVE this kind of friendliness, comfort and how this hotel has been decorated with its maritime inventory and certainly a lot of heart and soul. Both inside and in the garden, guests always feel a sense of pure relaxation, simply HOLIDAY! Accessibility, cleanliness, very delicious breakfast, personal care and a totally charming manner inspire and delight every time! We have been going to Lili Marleen regularly for several years, when we were still without a child and now with a child. We even gave our child the same name :-) We probably won't make it this year; but it just occurred to me and I wanted to leave a positive review! Best wishes :-) and a wonderful stay to everyone!
