Ibis Luebeck

Terrible experience in a triple room with a double bed and a sofa bed. I would define the latter as indecent. In many other hotels, I have slept on sofa beds or sleeper chairs without any problems. Here I cannot say the same, with very annoying iron bars that caused me discomfort and pain all night long. I wonder how it is possible that guests can be treated in this way. I would advise the manager to try sleeping on it for one night to understand that perhaps some changes need to be made. For the rest, an Ibis hotel room, nothing special. I would not return.

About 20/25 minutes on foot from the train station and the historic city center. Room at the back very quiet, clean. Decent breakfast, wide choice of products. A supermarket in the building, few restaurants nearby.

The hotel is located about 20 minutes from the train station, which is a short walk away. From the station, leave by the back entrance, stay to the right until you come to the busy roadway. Cross the roadway and turn left. Follow the roadway until you reach the hotel. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was typical Ibis, clean, comfortable, with WiFi, TV, and a comfortable bed. The bathroom is also very clean. I did not have breakfast, so I cannot comment on it. Short walk ot old town, there is also public transit about a minute or two from the hotel Nice 4-day stay, I can certainly recommend this hotel
