Long Island House Sylt

I loved every bit our vacation at the Long Island House at Sylt. I was lovely from the very first minute we arrived there. Great atmosphere, great people, awesome breakfast, wonderful sleeping, near the beach, great little garden.

We had a one night stay at Long Island House, and it was just perfect. The location is very calm, set in an area with private residences. Service was impeccable from the very start, the front desk knew us by name from the start and service was very personal. The hotel is decorated in typical Long Island Hamptons style, and is very cosy. Beds were comfortable and a fun detail was the cd player with lounge music in the room. There is a big garden where kids can play, and you can sit and enjoy a beer or two and chat in the evening. In the reception is a fridge with everything you can imagine, that serves as the minibar for the hotel. Breakfast was amazing, fresh local fish, and everything else you can think of for a breakfast buffet. Impressive quality and assortment for such a small hotel. We are already planning our next trip to Sylt Island and the Long Island House !

I always thought B&B type of accomodation would be old and dingy and very minimal in service. Long Island House Sylt proves me wrong! This B&B is an excellent getaway in any aspect. Room was clean, comfortable and well designed. Breakfast was superb and service was outstanding. Staffs are very knowledgable, friendly and professional. Location was great - nearby the beach, promenade and train station. Perfect place to stay in Sylt! We'll for sure come back and stay there.
