Hotel Goldene Sonne

Quaint, historic house. The Johann Sebastian Bach family was a frequent guest. Slanted, creaky floorboards, clean rooms in a prime location near the center. Friendly owner and hearty breakfast!

We were on business for several weeks with up to 4 people in the Golden Sun. During these weeks we had different double rooms and apartments for single use. The rooms and bathrooms were all clean and well maintained without exception. On the first floor there are still rustically lovingly furnished rooms with old radios and other accessories. Others are already renovated to modern. There are also top newly renovated apartments for a moderate extra price. The breakfast buffet is very good for a 3* hotel and available from 6:00am. The location of the hotel is great, in the middle of the old town. Price performance is reasonable, own parking available in the courtyard. The chef gives very good culinary tips for restaurants in the area and is also otherwise very concerned about the welfare of his in all matters. Thank you very much, we will come back anytime!

When I read economical I assume not will have many advantages but bath is out of room and other than towel was snabby(picture attached). Room I has been need to be clean better. I spend one night and it was enough. Breakfast was tipycal short version of German cold breakfast. It was included on price it means not so much complain for it.
