IBB Hotel Erfurt

The hotel is perfectly located on the Krämerbrücke in the heart of Erfurt. The staff is mostly very friendly. However, I consider it an exaggeration to give the impression that the rooms meet modern standards. Our room had a bathroom that corresponded to the standard of the 90s. We had booked a room with a shower months ago, but it was no longer available because the rooms are assigned on the day of arrival. I told the reception very clearly that, in my view, this is not okay, as there are older people who do not want to/cannot climb over a high bathtub edge anymore.

We felt very comfortable in your hotel. The support began with the booking confirmation: such as directions from the train station to the hotel, early luggage drop-off, and consideration of our requests. The welcome at your hotel was very friendly. This friendliness applies to the entire staff, thank you very much. Our room fully met our wishes. It was clean, quiet, had a good bathroom, and a comfortable bed. We had booked breakfast as well, and it was simply great. Abundant, varied, and very tasty. It was a very nice time at your place, and we would love to come back.

Great location, right in the old town. Friendly staff. Within walking distance were many sights and small Christmas markets - even after Christmas, the big one at Cathedral Square has already been dismantled.
