Amalienhof Hotel Weimar

We stayed for 3 nights and were very pleased with our stay. Rooms were large. Although we heard street noise during the day, it was quiet at night. The outside terrace was scenic and peaceful. Breakfast was good with many items to choose from. Staff were pleasant and helpful. It was a very good value. Bathroom was small.

We weren’t quite sure what to expect when booking our trip from the US to Weimar, and we were so pleasantly surprised by this beautiful boutique hotel! It was beautiful and moody inside, and the breakfast was lovely. We stayed in the newly refinished apartments, and had a small kitchen area, a dining table, and a private bedroom with a sitting area. The staff was incredibly friendly, and don’t forget to enjoy the handmade beverages! It was a wonderful experience, and very conveniently located near the walking path to downtown, and to all of the sites in Weimar. We walked everywhere we went.

Very nice reception; comfortably furnished rooms; everything you need in a room; varied breakfast buffet and parking available (advance reservation recommended); extraordinary location - in the middle of the old town and everything is within walking distance; price/performance is absolutely right.
