Airotel Stratos Vassilikos Hotel

Very courteous staff Very clean room and full of comforts. The hot and cold water dispenser on every floor was much appreciated. Super breakfast and for all tastes, sweet and savory, fresh and dried fruit, yogurt and juices. Upon arrival, the reception offers chocolate and truffle treats. Very pleasant stay. You park at the Alvi parking lot/gas station located right before the hotel, open 24 hours, with a discounted rate for those staying at the hotel of 12 euros per day. In front of the hotel, it is possible to stop temporarily to allow for unloading suitcases.

Good hotel but the room was a bit small, no closet, however, a large bathroom with a bathtub. Pleasant welcome. However, a lot of noise in the hallways at all hours because of groups of young people in "summer camps" and also a lot of car noise from the avenue located in front of the hotel. Issue with the A/C but resolved quickly. For us, it does not deserve a 4-star rating.

We stayed for five nights in July in a junior suite. The room was an excellent size and well equipped. The bathroom had both a bathtub and a large walk in shower which was great. The staff were also very helpful, especially Denis on the front desk who was extremely kind and welcoming. His recommendations for tours were really good. It was just a shame that there was a large party of students staying that week as they were quite noisy and tended to congregate around reception making it difficult to pass (they didn’t move even when asked!). However, the hotel is great value and includes a good breakfast and nice touches such as complimentary chocolates and hairdressing. One major drawback is that it doesn’t have a cafe or restaurant onsite to eat in the evening and there isn’t much choice nearby. But you can order food to be delivered to your room. The cleaning was slightly questionable - quite a few hairs which were not ours and on our last night we found an apple under the bed which had clearly been there for some time! Nevertheless we had a very enjoyable stay and would be happy to return again.
