Stayed here with my daughter and niece for 4 days. Wonderful hotel with very good service. Everyone was so friendly and helpful especially Millie at the M Lounge was awesome! Our room had a separate bedroom and 1 and half bath which really helps with 2 girls getting ready. This is only about a 10 min car ride to the Acropolis and is very close to the Athens cultural museum and the pier. The fitness center is also well equipped. The rooftop restaurant and pool gives awesome views and really good food! Awesome place to stay!

If you’re part of an airline group or some other large group traveling, you’ll probably like this hotel. If you are a business traveler, and can choose between this hotel and a local hostel. Choose the hostel. The reason it gets a three star and not a two star is because of a particular staff member in the restaurant who was super super friendly and empathetic to the nonsense I dealt with here. this not an angry review. Like a lot of Marriott properties. This hotel is completely lost touch with what a business traveler needs. I’m pretty confident this one is setting the standard for the whole chain. It’s kind of like the miserable downfall of the western hotels that are in the US. Marriott has been on a complete steady decline since they took over SPG that has been accelerated by Covid. One thing I’ve noticed in their is their relentless and figuring out how to cut every penny off the cost. This particular hotel just simply doesn’t comprehend the things that a business needs. After a 12 hour redeye, I came into the hotel early. They kept telling me 20 more minutes I’ll have a room ready for abouttwo hours until they got frustrated. I kept asking them. I only kept asking because they didn’t get my contact information to let me know whenone would be ready and I watch them check-in full flight cruise from probably 8 to 10 flights. They also checked in some leisurely travelers. Anyone that stays with Marriott knows that 95% the time they refuse to honor upgrades for High status members. I told this hotel they could give me any room where I would pay for upgrade and they kept saying they didn’t have one ready but for hours they kept checking in about 100 people. I waited in the lobby and walked around the streets from 7 AM till 3 PM. When you’re only in each country for an average of 36 hours, that’s tough to deal with. When I showed up my suits and shirtwere wrinkled. Of course they have no fast turnaround pressing service. The iron in the room was so old it didn’t even have a steam function. Then they brought me an iron that steamed, but didn’t have a pressure steam button so I had physically iron a three-piece suit without creasing it. The executive lounge is more like a family playground as the size of a queen suite. When I stayed at a hotel like this, it makes me truly distain the entire Marriott brand. It’s an insult in Front to both travelers and the namesake of this brand. These things may seem silly to some people. But if you are a true business traveler that hits multiple countries in a week, you’ll understand what mean.

We stayed at this hotel as part of our Viking Cruise pre-extension. The location was not great - there were no nearby shopping areas or tourist attractions and very few restaurants. The front desk staff was hit or miss - I had to ask three times to provide a hairdryer for the room. The room thermostat was difficult to use, and there were no USB-C outlets in the room and only 2 USB outlets.
The biggest problem we had was with the bathtub. No showerhead was included - only a handheld, which sprayed water everywhere due to the partially enclosed tub. They didn't provide washcloths, so it was hard to use the shower gel. I never really felt clean. On the plus side, the bathroom did provide lots of counter space.
