Nana Hotel

The check-in was straightforward and quick. We only had to pay the tourist tax of 5 euros per night. Our room was on the 6th floor. The elevator is old and tiny, but it works. The stairs are also an option. In the hallway, there are small pictures, a table with decorations, and chairs. Our room had a wardrobe in the front and a cool refrigerator. The double bed was clean. Additional blankets were in the closet. Additional blankets were located in the closet. We had two large windows with blinds to keep the heat outside. The best part was the balcony: it was huge. The neighboring rooms had balconies that were only half as large. The view from the 6th floor was also good - at night and during the day. The air conditioning worked. Only the bathroom was small and a bit old. But it had hot water. Overall, it was absolutely clean. And for three nights, it was okay for us. Since there is no breakfast, we went to the bakery downtown. However, there is also a nice café just 300 meters away at the square right by the church. There are two kiosks and a good gyros restaurant there. Furthermore, there are two supermarkets right next door that are open from 8 AM to 10 PM, even on weekends. The Lissira metro station is right outside the door. Thus, the Sokrates Hotel is well-located! Very good hotel

It is a very basic hotel with very hard beds and too soft pillows. Our room had ants, smell of tobacco, the toilet cistern worked regularly and when you showered the water came out. It is 2.5 km from the center, so to park well. The neighborhood is nothing otherworldly. If you don't want to spend a lot of money sleeping in Athens this is a pretty cheap hotel. The reception boy a charm, very friendly and attentive.

This hotel was booked for us through "wowcher" mystery Christmas market package it was an awful 3 night stay bathroom was tiny no lock on the bathroom window, bed is as hard as brick and the sheets had stains on them, room was small, dirty and dingy needs alot of work it's a smoking hotel everywhere stunk no English channels on the TV and the constant arguments and screaming of other guests keeping us awake all night slamming doors and a very aggressive male at 4am frightened me alot this hotel is definitely not a 3 star.
