Novotel Athenes

Old-fashioned hotel, robotic staff obedient to the group's orders and absolutely not involved; only the housekeeping staff is kind. Note a breakfast that is more than mediocre and a truly terrible fake orange juice reported to the service manager, who tells us it is not his responsibility! The next day, arriving at breakfast at 7:30, I notice that one table out of two has been occupied but not cleared! However, the manager arrives at 8:00 to have his coffee without any regard for the room. Moreover, very expensive in a remote area, this hotel has no interest except for the rooftop. Came here through the loyalty program, what a shame, pass by this money-making factory that no longer knows what a customer is and has forgotten the famous Greek hospitality.

Good hotel, great rooftop pool, absolutely horrendous breakfast, unworthy of the rest of the hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Front desk staff were so unhelpful and unsmiling. The area was so shady with junkies and homeless people. Reached out to Accor to assist in moving however they were unresponsive. There was no recognition of my gold status, no upgrade, no thank you no nothing. The staff in The restaurant were so rude that I refused to even get a glass of water there. All their business went to the lovely cafe directly next door. Reasonably priced and very tasty. The rooms were dated and old and the shower screens need replacing. Water bottle provided in the first day and nothing after that’s Severely let down the Accor brand and I would list it as a 2 star hotel at best. Shout out to the only friendly customer service focussed guy upstairs
