Oasis Scala Beach Hotel

We stayed four nights here. Great staff, very friendly and chatty. The room in block B was lovely, very big. The shower was in the bedroom with opaque glass and the basin and loo in a separate room . The small pool was a disappointment only 12 beds around it and mostly in the shade but at least you didn’t have to pay the €15 a day that they charge on the beach. We were told they provide beach towels, well it was more a tea towel as far as size and thickness 🤨 Great restaurant both breakfast and lunch also dinner. The beach is sandy and very calm clear water. Gets busy st the weekend lots of people off the ferries.

If you want a lovely family run hotel right next to the beach with a great restaurant then have a trip! Very nice clean and well ran hotel very professional and friendly staff who are very happy to help and make your stay comfortable. Its right next to the beach and you can book sunbed set (2 comfortable beds and umbrella) on the lovely beach the night before at reception for 15 euro for the day - with waiter service from the hotel. The small pool is free sunbeds and during my trip never got crowded. Scala is very small friendly place with a few nice bars and restaurants and the usual shops, all good not expensive and good service - although the Oasis food is probably the best but the other places are worth a visit - all within walking distance. If you like Greece I can recommend without hesitation its was busy but not crowded or rowdy at all. We flew to Athens then got the fast ferry which takes an hour and there is a regular service with a couple of different operators but the fast ferry was very comfortable. If you are travelling independent call the hotel as they also run a transfer service and can arrange transport from airport to ferry return and if you use the fast ferry short transfer to hotel. Their service is excellent.

Wonderful. Great service, friendly staff, good food and just so relaxing. Love that you can reserve your sunbeds which is a must if you are there at weekends due to the masses of day trippers from the mainland. Beach service is great. 5 stars for everything.
