Hotel Mallas

We stayed for 5 nights as we were attending a wedding in Thessaloniki . We hadn’t realised that the City of Thessaloniki is 40min drive by taxi and costs 50 Euro. However the lovely hotel and the small town of Nea Kalikratia made up for any additional travelling. We wanted to be near the beach and this hotel didn’t disappoint. The breakfast has a very varied and tasty selection and a few items are added or changed each day, which makes it more interesting. The rooms are very clean and modern, which is different to many small hotels on some of the islands where fittings are often not secure and rooms are often dated. It’s a family run hotel and the owners (Katarina and her husband are very helpful and friendly) they assisted us daily with transport options and helped us as we prepared for the wedding. The hotel is 5-10 minute walk from the beach and the town has such wonderful seafood options at really affordable prices. We found the food much fresher and cheaper in the town than in Thessaloniki, so any money we spent on transport was partly made up by our savings on food. Throughly recommend the hotel, a great town that is reasonably close to both Thessaloniki and the Halkidiki peninsulas

My husband and I stayed in a superior double room at the end of July - beginning of August 2023. The hotel is located in the very center, 5 minutes to the sea. There are shops, restaurants, and entertainment infrastructure around. The K.T.E.L Halkidiki bus stop is nearby. You can get to Thessaloniki in half an hour. The hotel is small but very cozy. The rooms are clean. There is Wi-Fi throughout the entire territory. Very welcoming hosts. They speak Greek and English. Delicious breakfasts. The hostess is preparing coffee. The impressions from the hotel are the most positive. If we have the opportunity, we will definitely come back here.

We are happy that we choose Mallas, good location, good rooms with fresh towels every day and a good breakfast buffet included. Close to the beach and restaurants. Super market just opposite. Small pool area that we havnt used but great for kids
