Olympion Sunset

This is absolutely not a 5-star hotel. This is a regular family hotel 3 stars with terrible food and a level of organization and cleanliness. Of the pros only water on the beach , even the beach itself is very sad and not cleaned properly and here is why : In the first photo, the shower on the beach and it is not cleaned, all the time resting near it on the tiles on the top lie someone dirty black underwear and next to and above the shower hangs a web, we were 8 days in the hotel and all 8 days it was constant. In the second and third photo of umbrellas above the deckchairs they cannot be lowered and lifted and they are absolutely rusty from the inside all and completely. In the 4-7 photo the bathroom in the room which has no ventilation, ventilation takes place through an open window , but this window opens to the street towards the car road and there are constantly cars driving , and in the bathroom there are towels and this dust accordingly flies on towels , and they are not replaced every day .in the 8-9 photo are shown the rain tack from the shower which is not kept in the wall and it constantly falls off and the rain fell twice very much to my wife's leg while washing her head , just because it hangs on the snot and it has not been fixed even by the end of the rest . When asked at the reception to fix it, we were told that they would fix it but in the end just put the rebar back in and didn't screw and it kept falling. in the 10 photo in the middle of the bathroom some water drain and when you wash in the shower then foam starts to come out of this water drain in the middle of the bathroom and shoot into the room if there is a lot of foam and then this foam just lies in the middle of the bathroom, asked to fix it - said that they would remove, eventually the foam was removed but the next time the foam started to come out of this drain again in the middle of the room. In the toilets at the reception is unhygienic, it is not often cleaned and it is dirty as in the toilet near the bar/beach, it is dirty and the toilets are not closed for personal use and as a result when my wife in the toilet was naked and doing her toilet business other women broke in to her than insulted her dignity, all because the toilets do not have locks, how do they say that to keep small children from locking themselves there, but what prevents you from making the locks higher so that only adults get to them? The cleaning of the rooms sometimes took place at 4 p.m. and our beds were not made before that time and collected a lot of dust. Wardrobe in the room with no extra shelves , only for hangers , which prevented us from unloading our suitcases with things . Soundproofing is practically non-existent and we hear cars driving all night and all day, on the city road near the hotel/our room. And we hear neighbors and maids. The restaurant was not open as early as 10:30 p.m. and we could not order anywhere in the hotel to eat from that time onwards and remained hungry as the hotel has no food since that time. The minibar only has one bottle of plain water, nothing else. Breakfasts and dinners on the buffet , food stands in a small room measuring 20 square meters . At breakfast, you cannot order yourself a specific kind of egg preparation, only take from the already finished options. There is no toaster at breakfast to make bread toast. There is no proper coffee at breakfast. Dinners are also very scarce choices in the same room. We asked for two thin blankets and were provided with them, but every two to three days, the cleaning took one blanket away from us and we had to call the reception to ask for another blanket and explain for a long time what we needed. And we had a disgruntled woman come in, I was lying on the bed and I heard what was happening when the wife opened the door to her, when the wife just opened the door the woman started to push into our room even though the wife wanted to do everything on the way out of the room because I was lying naked, but she pushed in and was not happy with her as a client that my wife was to blame and that what she was asking for was not called a slim blanket and that it was not a blanket at all but a slim, and she repeated and repeated it several times until I went out and started to calm her down because she was being disrespectful to my wife, on the second try she brought what we needed. The beach is dirty, the kids dug holes on the floor of the beach that were inconvenient and it's just not beautiful, and these holes stood for three more days and the kids were gone and these holes were not leveled. The hotel says that they clean it every day as well as the toilets every hour as well as changing towels every day but that's all absolutely not true, none of it was done. There were huge companies coming to the beach on weekends and somehow a sign was put up for them that deckchairs and tables were reserved although no one does it for hotel customers, hello I paid money for it and I need deckchairs too! The hotel says that you can't book for anyone, I guess my wife and the rest of the visitors are blind and we thought these signs on the beach where then the big companies came. The system with cards for towels is disgusting, and on the beach people just leave their towels on most sun loungers and then all day sun loungers are empty with these towels and people don't come and it's not controlled in any way. The system with towels and cards drives people crazy, we turned our backs for 10 seconds and just a man from the beach stole our towel despite the fact that it had things on it and started proving with his woman that it was their towel and asking why we had 4 if there were two of us even though we originally asked at the reception for 4 cards for 4 Towels for comfort but these woman and man couldn't believe it and thought it was their towel, all because they are one of those people who leave towels on sun loungers in the morning and come to the evening and can't find their towel and nobody is watching and nobody is dealing with these situations. It's hell. On the last day before we left, we came to our room and a whole swarm of red ants came out from under our sofa, I attach a video. It's terrible, we haven't been able to relax all week and it's been our worst holiday ever, and we've already visited about 20 hotels in the last few years, including in Greece, we fly here every summer. In my opinion, all these moments are a complete mismatch with the Greek 5-star hotel.

This was our third stay at this fantastic hotel, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. We were a big family group – three rooms in total – with our child, and the grandparents in the other rooms. The hotel was perfect for all of us! Everything was spotless and beautifully maintained. The cleanliness and upkeep of the hotel are truly 5-star. But what really makes this place special is the staff. Every single person we encountered was warm, kind, and full of positive energy. From reception to housekeeping to the restaurant staff – everyone made us feel welcome and cared for. They took the time to talk to us, made us feel at home, and always greeted us with a smile. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and we appreciated it deeply. This hotel holds a special place in our hearts, and we will definitely return again. Highly recommended for families or anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a positive atmosphere.
