Village Mare

The hotel is very clean and with queit good service. We were at some of there's studios near the beach with very huge veranda. The food is excellent and the pool activity is graet. The hotel is no more than 5 meteres from the beach, has privite beach umbrellas. The village is very nice and the hotel is quiet at the centre of it so you can walk around and see the local sightseeings

Staff - 10+ out of 10 (animation 5-6) Food - 7 out of 10 Location - 6 out of 10 (25 min by foot to Metamorfosis, 15min by car to Nikiti) Beach - 3-5mon walking, 5 eur for umbrella with 2 chairs, really close one to other. Stones and concrete slabs, sea urchins around the rocks. No beach bar, you have to take drinks from the hotel. No parking, you park on the street. Good thing is there are entrances all around the perimeter so basically you can park the car really close to the room Accomodation - needs renovation but overall its 8 out of 10. Tips - do not take rooms near the pools - it is really noisy in the evenings and if you are with a baby its a disatster Supermarket is working 2-3 hours in the morning and 2-3 in the evening. More souvenirs than things you can buy for eating or drinking Snacks are not available all the day but at specific times...should be adjusted - if you have an early lunch afternoon snack at 1700 is too late, especially when you are with kids Animation - lots to be done, maybe in high season its OK. Game corner with pool, air hockey, 2 tennis tables and a few games. Kids room for babies Strange and annoying - lawn irrigation is on between 20 and 22, just when you walk to tour room and you usually get wet... So do the laundry if your room terrace is on the grass Overall - 6.5 out of 10.

In general average hotel. Was there 4 years in a row. It is very nosy during the evenings, e.g. playground should be closed at 20.30 but after midnight kids are there and all around. Food is good, beach is OK(5 euro for sunbeds). Animation was at the lowest possible level last year(2024), but have to say that the Greek ladies are doing fantastic job. Thank you Vasilia! What us make disappointed is that we requested a specific rooms (At October for July) but unfortunately that has not considered.
